Prosciutto Squacquerone Lasagna
Ingredients:
- 1 package lasagna noodles
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Swiss cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 pound thinly sliced prosciutto
- 1/2 pound sliced provolone cheese
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 egg
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions, then drain and set aside.
- Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Stir in flour, parsley, Parmesan cheese, milk, egg, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, and basil. Cook and stir until mixture thickens and bubbles.
- Stir in mozzarella cheese, Swiss cheese, and 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese. Stir until melted.
- Spread 1/2 of the sauce in the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Layer with 3 noodles, half of the prosciutto, half of the provolone cheese, and half of the ricotta cheese.
- Repeat layers, ending with sauce.
- Bake for 35 minutes in the preheated oven, or until cheese is melted and edges are bubbly.
- Cool for 10 minutes before serving.
