  • 1/2 cup (112g) unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup (100g) packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup (125g) peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup (125g) creamy peanut butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup (65g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup (55g) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a 9x9 inch baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. Cream butter and sugars together in a large bowl on medium speed until light in color and fluffy. You should be able to see the change in color happen and know it’s ready.
  3. Add peanut butter and peanut butter and mix until well combined.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
  5. Add flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt and mix until well combined.
  6. Spread batter into prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes. The edges should be set and the center should be soft and fudgey.
  7. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely before cutting.
  8. Cut into squares and serve.
